The company also trades in branded cosmetics as part of its fashion and personal care business. Its jewellery manufacturing activities are carried out through contract manufacturers, while the company operates its distribution and sales activities from Kolkata. Pros
- • R. K. Fashion Accessories claims to operate with skilled artisans and craftsmen, including workers with experience in traditional Bengali jewellery-making techniques. The company manufactures 24-carat gold-plated copper jewellery and American Diamond pieces, combining traditional designs with contemporary styles.
- • The company sells its Manikya Jewellery products through multiple e-commerce platforms and its own website. It received 63,665 online orders in FY26, compared with 61,951 in FY25 and 65,994 in FY24.
- • R. K. Fashion Accessories has corporate partnerships with national retail chains and operates around 120 shop-in-shop counters through these arrangements. Its corporate channel revenue increased from Rs 3.18 crore in FY24 to Rs 3.57 crore in FY26.
Cons
- • The top 5 customers contributed Rs 3.37 crore (11.11%), Rs 3.14 crore (17.68%), and Rs 2.66 crore (20.07%) to the company’s sales in FY26, FY25, and FY24, respectively. Any loss of these key customers or a significant reduction in orders could adversely affect the company’s sales, cash flow, profitability, and operational stability.
- • The top 5 suppliers accounted for Rs 6.67 crore (34.10%), Rs 4.50 crore (26.96%), and Rs 3.10 crore (31.92%) of the company’s raw material purchases in FY26, FY25, and FY24, respectively. Any disruption in the supply of raw materials or increase in their prices and other input costs could adversely affect the company’s production, pricing, financial condition and results of operations.
- • The company reported negative cash flows from operating activities of Rs 0.68 crore in FY26 and Rs 0.26 crore in FY24, while investing activities recorded negative cash flows of Rs 0.49 crore, Rs 0.23 crore, and Rs 2.14 crore in FY26, FY25, and FY24, respectively. The negative operating cash flows were mainly due to decreases in trade payables and increases in trade receivables, inventories, and short-term loans and advances, while negative investing cash flows were primarily due to purchases of fixed assets and investments, as well as the merger-related adjustments in FY24. Any sustained negative cash flows could adversely affect the company’s liquidity, working capital, and ability to meet its financial obligations.
