About the Company

Marri Retail Limited is a prominent Hyderabad-based multi-brand retailer specializing in apparel and jewelry, operating through well-known regional brands such as The Chennai Shopping Mall, JC Brothers, JC Mall, and Jeans Corner. From its origins as a small proprietorship in 1997, the company has scaled to a network of 34 stores (spanning nearly 0.98 million sq. ft.) across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Financially, the company has shown significant momentum, reporting Revenue from Operations of ₹2,456.3 crore in FY25 and a Net Profit of ₹83.5 crore for the six-month period ending September 30, 2025. The IPO features a fresh issue of up to ₹522 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 2.7 crore equity shares by promoter Marri Venkat Reddy. Strategically, the company plans to utilize ₹250.5 crore of the proceeds for aggressive physical expansion (including 10 new apparel and 2 standalone jewelry stores) and ₹115.6 crore for debt repayment, aiming to strengthen its balance sheet as it transitions into a larger corporate retail entity.
